Bhubaneswar: The Aesthetic Surgery Conference 2025 was successfully held at AIIMS-Bhubaneswar, attracting top professionals in the field of plastic and aesthetic surgery from across the globe.
Organized by the Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons of Odisha (APRASO) in partnership with the Indian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (IAAPS) and AIIMS-Bhubaneswar, the three-day event featured a comprehensive agenda.
Topics discussed included facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, body contouring, breast aesthetics, minimally invasive techniques, and advancements in regenerative medicine.
Esteemed surgeons presented their expertise in advanced surgical techniques, innovative technologies, and the most recent evidence-based practices.
The conference included live surgical demonstrations showcasing procedures like rhinoplasty, abdominoplasty, and breast reduction, along with hands-on workshops focusing on injectables, aesthetic lasers, thread lifts, and regenerative therapies.
More than 150 delegates participated, comprising surgeons, residents, and allied health professionals. The opening ceremony featured notable figures such as AIIMS Bhubaneswar's executive director Dr. Ashutosh Biswas, dean Dr. Prasanta Mohapatra, medical superintendent Dr. Dillip Kumar Parida, APRASO president Dr. Ruchi Gupta, and other distinguished guests.
